Gaming
Tristate Developmental Services provides meet ups at various times for participants to enjoy board games or gaming consoles. Certain disabilities make it difficult for the person to connect with others for various reasons. Gaming is a way that often times overcomes that challenge. Even shy, nonverbal participants can watch a friend play or vice versa. We feel it is important to explore all methods and types of community and encourage family involvement. Games are supplied; however, additional games can be brought by participants. These meet ups take place at the Chesapeake Community Center. Check out our calendar for upcoming events!
