Just a reminder that tonight at 5:30 there will be crafts at the Chesapeake Community Center, Room 4. Tonight is all about dream catchers! Everything will be provided free of charge. Don't miss out on the fun!
We had a great day at the Goodwill Life Skills Training! Everyone learned about stress and how to manage it, made our own stress balls, went on a photo scavenger hunt, learned about budgeting our money, made our own pizza and went on a tour of the Goodwill facility. It was busy, educational, unbelievably fun AND they loaded everyone up with goodies. A special thanks to Jean Mansfield, Joy Combs, Tiffany, Keith Vass, and Geoff Layne for making this possible and giving your time.
Saturday, August 14, at 6:00pm will be our baseball end of season party AND the Back to School kick-off! Medals and pictures will be handed out and we will have one final game with all teams together. Uniforms are not necessary. For the Back to School portion, there will be school supplies available for our participants. We will also be providing hot dogs, snacks, and drinks for free!
